We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team in designing and developing AI-driven internal tools that enhance efficiency and effectiveness of developer success across all Intuit engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, developing next generation engineering tools, combined with a proven track record of leading teams in a customer-centric organization.Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of internal engineering tools.
• Drive the adoption and integration of new technologies to improve tool functionality and developer experience.
• Foster a customer-centric approach, ensuring tools and technologies developed meet the developer needs and enhance engineering productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tool development with the overall business and engineering strategy.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of the product development from concept to deployment and support.
• Mentor and develop team members to advance their skills and career paths.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.
• Ensure robustness, resilience, and scalability of internal tools.Qualifications

  • Leadership and team management: Proven experience in leading software engineering teams and delivering impactful software projects.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Proven experience working on large-scale projects that require cross-organizational alignment and collaboration.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to tackle challenging issues integrating complex systems and technologies.
  • Data-driven Customer focus: Proven record of making customer experience and data-driven product decisions in partnership with Product and Program Management teams.
  • Project management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience in agile methodologies.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Innovation: Continuously proposes new tools and updates to keep up with the fast-paced technology landscape.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software development and management (7+ years preferred).
  • Previous experience in developing internal engineering tools is highly desirable.
