This historic and respected hospital in California's Central Valley is searching for an experienced Director to lead Medical Staff Services. Join a dedicated team of Physicians, Providers, and Administrators across multiple campuses in a Regional Healthcare System.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer / Administrator, and working in close coordination with the Regional Chief Medical Officer, the Director of Medical Staff Services will take on a role that's critical to the mission and compliance of this community hospital. Supported by a small team of CPCS Credentialing Specialists and CPMSM Medical Staff Coordinators, the Director will oversee a wide range of Medical Staff operations for this 300+ bed Medical Center.The Medical Staff Services Director will have the chance to play a central role in developing and implementing strategy and goals for a large Medical Staff team with over 500 providers. This person will work closely with Medical Leadership, Executive Leadership, and Quality Management at the regional and local level to coordinate programs and initiatives that support the mission of this organization. Additionally, the Director of Medical Staff Services will administer the facility's credentialing program, ensuring that the physicians, providers, and staff are all in compliance. In a complex role such as this one, it'll be important for the Medical Officer Leader to have experience with Inpatient Provider / Medical Groups.The Director of the Medical Staff Office will be joining a community founded on being a good neighbor and taking care of one another.
