Family Nurse Practitioner OR Pediatric Nurse Practitioner needed for Medical Center in King City, California

Family Nurse Practitioner - provides services to clinic patients following adopted clinical protocols under the supervision of licensed physicians. Takes complete histories and performs physical examinations in order to provide a health maintenance plan. Diagnoses and treats common illnesses and injuries under established protocols.

• $150K - $210K annually depending on experience
• Days, Full Time, 4x10
• No Nights, No Holidays, No call
• MUST HAVE Active license as Nurse Practitioner in California
• MUST HAVE Certification as an APRN through the AANP or ANCC
• MUST HAVE Primary Care experience required
• MUST HAVE AHA BLS and AHA ACLS
  Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
  The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner provides care and physician support during the treatment of pediatric patients. Job Duties: Provides care to infant, child, or adolescent patients in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions. Obtains patient history, screens patients to ensure appropriate physical/mental development, administers immunizations, orders tests or scans, diagnoses illnesses, prescribes medicines and outlines and monitors courses of treatment.

  • MUST HAVE Active license as Nurse Practitioner in California
  • MUST HAVE Certification as an APRN through the AANP or ANCC
  • MUST HAVE Pediatric work experience required
  • MUST HAVE passing of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Boards exam
  • MUST HAVE AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and AHA PALS
  • MUST HAVE At least TWO YEARS of acute care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting
