Job Description:
United Health Care Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor
and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Santa Cruz, California.Job
Description & Requirements
Location: Santa Cruz, CA 95065
Pay: $70.00 - $76.00 per hour (good vibes included!)
Expected hours: 36 per week (with well-deserved breaks!)
Schedule: 12x3 :: 12-hour shifts :: Night and weekend shifts
available :: Every other weekend (EOW) :: First to float
Regular Shifts: Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and 12:30 PM
- 9:00 PM.
Weekly Gross Pay: Up to $3,500
Unit: L&D/MB/NICU Interim Manager
Charting System: Cerner
About the Unit:
L&D Beds: 6 (plus 5 additional postpartum rooms)
OR Suites for C-Sections: 1
Triage Beds: 3
Postpartum Beds: 11 PP and 6 gyn/pedi/ms overflow
Births: 65-70 per month; 775-800 per year
Key Responsibilities:
-- Direct Patient Care: Provide compassionate, high-quality care to
laboring mothers and newborns.
-- Vital Signs Monitoring: Keep a close watch on mom and baby's
vitals and ensure everything is progressing smoothly.
-- Assist in Labor & Delivery: Support patients throughout the
delivery process and prepare delivery rooms.
Qualifications:
-- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
(required!).
-- Preferred experience in Labor and Delivery, but we welcome
passionate RNs eager to learn.
-- Required certifications: AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM),
BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program).
