  • A hospital near Sacramento is looking for an experienced OPS Pre/Post RN for a travel contract.
  • The right candidate will have 2 years of experience, hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and a CA License.

        • Additional Notes: We care for general surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic, GYN, ENT, retina, GI, pain management, cataracts, dental. We see all age populations from peds to geriatric. Any nurse should have worked in a recovery room if some sort in the past. Most travelers take 2-3 shifts to orient to the unit.

          • Need 2 supervisor references at submittal; 1 within 12 months & 1 within 3 years worked.
          • Modules are required to be done before start of assignment. Modules take on average 3-4 hours to complete-this time is not billable to the hospital.
          • For Holiday RTO: Travelers will work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years). Unit managers will make the final call on scheduling. **Holiday time off will be considered, however not guaranteed**.
          • PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE, THE DYSRHYTHMIA EXAM (BASIC) THROUGH RELIAS IS REQUIRED TO BE SENT ALONG WITH ACCEPTANCE.
          • This must be completed within 24-48 hrs. It's pass or fail and they get two attempts.
          • If a traveler fails the 2nd attempt, they will be made DNU for CommonSpirit AZ and Sac.
