• Certification Details
• Current California RN license - Required.
• Current ACLS, PALS, BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards - Required.
  • Job Details
  • Meets all eligibility requirements of a Registered Nurse I.
  • Works under the supervision of the Director.
  • The Registered Nurse II assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care according to departmental policies.
  • Individualizes patient care based on age appropriate and developmental needs.
  • Accepts responsibility for the direction of co-workers in the implementation of care plans.
  • Collaborates with physicians, patient/families and health care team members.
  • Utilizes positive communication skills.
  • May be required to work on other nursing units depending on staff and patient distribution.
  • Demonstrates skills to provide care appropriate to the age of patients served.
  • Completes nursing assessments and documents into patient record appropriately.
  • Develops care plans based on assessments.
  • Provides, delegates, and coordinates patient care.
  • Involved in discharge planning and patient/family teaching.
  • Evaluates and updates patient responses to care.
  • Facilitates physiological, psychosocial, and spiritual care.
  • Contributes to cost-effective patient care by monitoring use of resources.
  • Complies with safety policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates flexibility with changes in Hospital or unit activities.
  • Acts as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
  • Actively participates in achieving departmental goals.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum of one (1) year Clinical Registered Nurse experience preferred in specialty areas.

      • Current California RN license - Required.
      • Current ACLS, PALS, BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards - Required.
      • Outpatient services prepare patients for surgery (inpatient and outpatient).
      • Must have PACU experience and be able to do Phase I and Phase II recoveries, get readies, and PAT.
