Position Summary:

Dykema, a prominent national law firm, is actively seeking Staff Attorneys, including newly licensed attorneys. This is a remote, direct-hire opportunity tailored for legal professionals eager to sharpen their litigation skills in a structured and flexible environment.

Candidates must reside in one of the eligible states (CA, IL, MI, MN, TX, DC, or WI) and be an active member of the California Bar.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and defend corporate depositions, often virtually (2-4 depositions per day expected).


Handle discovery-related motions and case management in California state courts.


Focus on California Breach of Warranty (BoW) law matters.


Collaborate directly with clients, enhancing oral advocacy and legal advisory skills.


Maintain a consistent workload with predictable hours (billing expectation: 1,850 hours annually; reduced hours possible around 1,700).




Ideal Candidate Profile:

Member of the California Bar (Required)


Minimum 1 year of legal experience in clerkships, internships, or other capacities.


Excellent writing and oral advocacy skills.


Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.


Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship needs.
