• Work with other groups in the AI team to define and evaluate physical infrastructure requirements for cloud and local training and inference hardware including software tools for management.
• Monitor technical trends in emerging hardware technologies and advancements.
• Identify and create methods to evaluate, monitor, and benchmark hardware performance.
• Perform experimentation on novel compute hardware.
• Work with vendors and internal teams to identify partnerships and collaborations on advancing system inference and training capabilities.Qualifications:
  • Master's in Computer Engineering or a related field with 7+ years full-time industry experience in defining and evaluating physical infrastructure requirements for cloud and local training and inference hardware.
  • Knowledge of technical trends in the field.
  • Track record of experimentation on novel computer hardware.
  • In-depth expertise in AI infrastructure and computing.Job Req Type: ExperiencedRequired Travel: Yes, 10% of the timeShift Type: 1st Shift/DaysThe wage range for a new hire into this position is $208,380 to $286,523. Actual wage offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, training, external market data, internal equity, or other bona fide factors.This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus which is based on personal and company factors.This position includes medical, vision and dental coverage, 401k, paid vacation, holidays, and sick time, and other benefits.
