Job description:
Role: QA Engineer/Manual Tester
Location: Northern Indiana, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Role:

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for testing efforts to improve software quality on desktop and web applications as well as API services. He/She must have a passion for technology, diving into data, problem solving and must possess a desire to improve software quality within an Agile team environment. This role will require you to become a Subject Matter Expert within SDI applications & processes; applying your knowledge to ensure that QA team functions efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or similar discipline; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience testing standalone desktop and web applications in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
• Experience with test document and defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, etc. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, software development, QA methodologies, and release processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including presentation skills.
  • Flexibility and capable of managing priorities appropriately to achieve proper test coverage to your items.
