Year Up United Program Overview
Young adults participate in a one-year or less, intensive job training program that includes in-classroom skill development, internships, job placement services, coaching, and mentorship. Participants receive an educational stipend.
The program combines technical and professional training with access to internships and job placement support through YUPRO Placement. Internships may be available at leading organizations in the California Bay Area, such as Salesforce, Workday, and PayPal.
Eligibility criteria include:

• 18-29 years old
  
• High school graduate or GED recipient
  
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
  
• Available Monday-Friday throughout the program
  
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills
  
• No Bachelor's degree
  
  Participants gain professional skills, including business and communication skills, interviewing and networking skills, resume building, and ongoing support. Some coursework is eligible for college credit. During the internship phase, participants receive an educational stipend of $525 per week.
  In-depth classes cover application development, banking, customer success, helpdesk support, project management, and data analytics. The program helps launch professional careers, with 80% of graduates employed or enrolled in postsecondary education within 4 months. Graduates earn an average starting salary of $53,000 per year.
