Job Description:

Seek a per diem/prn RN Interventional Radiology nurse in Clovis, California.

  Responsibilities:
  
  • 
    
  • Prepare patients for procedures
    
  • Analyze laboratory results and medical history
    
  • Educate patient and family
    
  • Insert IV lines
    
  • Administer drugs including procedural sedation
    
  • Monitor patient's patterns and vital signs during procedures
    
  • Oversee the safety and comfort of patients
    
  • All other responsibilities as needed
    
    Qualifications:
    
    • 
      
    • Graduate of approved nursing program required
      
    • RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
      
    • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
      
      Preferences:
      
      • 
        
      • Background procedural sedation, angiography, and special procedures.
        
      • Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN) or Cardiovascular Nursing (CVN) is preferred.
        
      • Advance level of clinical nursing practice in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, ICU, or ER experience preferred.
