Job Description:
A company is looking for an Authorizations Specialist to manage
authorization requests in a healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage urgent, routine, pre-service, and retro authorization
requests
Utilize business applications to analyze and enter prior
authorization data for claims adjudication
Interact with internal and external customers to provide and obtain
necessary information
Required Qualifications:
Experience in authorizations within a healthcare environment
Health plan and EMR experience
Preferred experience with EPIC
