• Position Summary
• Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant positions available in the Nursing Department.
• Days/Hours
• Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
• Start Date
• Position available on or after September 9, 2024 and ending on or before May 31, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
• Job Description/Duties
• Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Assist in portraying sick and afflicted patients for student nurse training.
  • Memorize script, scenario, and patient details for simulated nurse training.
  • Assist in supporting Simulation Director, Simulation Operations Specialist, and Nursing faculty.Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • Previous acting experience.
    • Previous simulated patient acting experience.
    • Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a variety of faculty and students.
    • Demonstrates the ability to take direction from Nursing faculty and staff.Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
      • Salary Range
      • $17.00 per hour.
