Group/Division With over 40 years of semiconductor process control
experience, chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that
their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production
quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards
advanced chip design, KLA's Global Products Group (GPG), which is
responsible for creating all of KLA's metrology and inspection
products, is looking for the best and the brightest research
scientist, software engineers, application development engineers,
and senior product technology process engineers. First to deliver
the best imaging and classification data for every defect or point
on any layer at any time. EBeam's mission encapsulates its role as
the "eyes" of KLA's product line, providing timely information on
defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial
resolution possible. Customers use EBeam products alongside KLA
patterned and bare wafer inspectors to quickly understand the
nature of defects and other imperfections on product wafers and
take action to correct the manufacturing process.Job
Description/Preferred QualificationsWorks on complex problems
requiring expertise in multiple areas of product design and
characterization. Provides technical leadership to others in
handling major product or service related responsibilities
impacting major business operations.Independently resolves issues
concerning scope, methodologies, and resource issues as they arise.
Focus is on short and long term design of products, use cases, and
services.Identifies problems and proposes solutions well in
advance.Requires strong leadership skills. Ability to lead
multidisciplinary project teams to learn and apply new
skills/techniques to respond to business needs.Initiate and lead
projects to address strategic issues.Designs frequently provide
significant competitive advantage to KT products.Design, evaluate
and test new engineering techniques for applicability to KT
products.Provide guidance and direction to ensure adequate
performance to specifications is achieved. Develop corrective
action plans as necessary.Act as an expert resource for existing
new product introductions and the development of
technologies.Develop new technologies. May hold patents and is
published in recognized journals.Perform short and long range
product development planning and play a lead role in presenting new
ideas; influence and advise management on N+1 and N+2 product
roadmap directions.Minimum QualificationsDoctorate (Academic) or
work experience of 5 years , Master's Level Degree or work
experience of 6 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience
