Job Description:
The position will transport patients between patient care areas
by wheelchair, gurney, and bed within the main hospital. This
position will also provide a comprehensive orientation and training
program for new Patient Transport Assistants.

Department Overview
The Patient Transport Services department provides coordinated,
centrally dispatched transportation services for patients being
treated in the outpatient clinics and the inpatient units and
diagnostic areas. The unit also provides information, reception,
and assistance to patients, visitors, hospital staff, and the
public.

Main Hospital and surrounding grounds. Works overtime as defined by
the collective bargaining agreements, floats to other areas and
works weekends and holidays. Has mandatory reporting
